By Campaign Team, on Aug 24, 2010

Tonight we will all know the results of Mike's State Senate race... and his victory.

I know many of you plan to watch your local television station for the key results.

However, if you are anything like us (the campaign team), TV is just too slow and unpredictable. You never know when they will mention our campaign, and we want the vote results NOW - IMMEDIATELY - AS SOON AS THEY ARE POSTED by the Secretary of State.

So, we will follow Mike's historic vote count IN REAL TIME on the new Florida Secretary of State's election site at the link below.

Why Has Greg Evers Gone Negative?

By Campaign Team, on Aug 21, 2010

You may have recently received mailings that validate Mr. Evers has gone negative in the final days of the campaign.  That’s an obvious sign of desperation for an incumbent politician who knows he is losing.  If he knew he were winning the campaign on issues, ideas, and solutions, why would he go negative?

If you have received any of these negative mailings, don’t believe them.  With slight of hand and innuendo, our opponent (or his cronies) are tempting you with inaccurate attacks on Mike’s credibility.

For the record - Mike Hill has paid every cent on every tax he has ever owed!  The recent attacks by Mr. Evers are based upon an internal recording error by our local tax office - not by a non-payment of Mike Hill!

Mike's Position on SB6

By Campaign Team, on Aug 20, 2010

In response to several recent requests from “Ask Mike” questions and in resent forums, we thought it was time to restate Mike’s position on Senate Bill #6 (SB6), the controversial bill on teacher pay and performance.

“I am very much in favor of the original intent of SB6, but would not have voted for it in it's present form for two key reasons.  First, I did not agree with the proposed concentration of power in Tallahassee.  True conservatives do not believe in centralized power.

Mike Overwhelmingly Wins Another Straw Poll

By Campaign Team, on Aug 18, 2010

In a Monday night straw poll conducted by the Walton County Republican Executive Committee (WCREC), Mike won an overwhelming victory as the best candidate to represent Florida State Senate District 2.

In their email announcement, the leaders of WCREC stated, "When you win 100% of the votes you definitely need to get recognized for that performance."

In response to this huge straw poll victory, Mike said, "I am thrilled and humbled to know that I have the support of the vast majority of true conservatives throughout Walton County and beyond.  It is so very encouraging to see the fast-rising momentum of our campaign as we march to victory in next Tuesday’s primary election.”
